Don’t let open enrollment slip by this holiday season

The holidays are definitely a busy time of the year. With everything there is to do, it’s easy to forget about open enrollment. Open enrollment is an important opportunity to find the right health insurance coverage for you, your family or your business. Don’t let it slip by!

Open enrollment officially runs through January 31. But to avoid any gaps in health insurance coverage, you must have your insurance application submitted no later than December 15 to have coverage effective on January 1. If you have not applied for health insurance by January 31, you’ll only be able to get coverage in special circumstances throughout 2016, such as if you lose a job, have or adopt a child or get married.
